Pilates

Pilates is a system of mind-body exercise that emphasizes alignment, breathing, developing & maintaining integrity of the core, and improving coordination and balance. By incorporating Pilates exercises into ones’ life, they can improve flexibility, strength and develop control and endurance in the entire body. Pilates allows for different exercises to be modified in range of difficulty from beginner to advanced, and is suitable for all age groups.

One of the hallmarks of Pilates, is that it allows the body to develop strength alongside flexibility. It is a great adjunct to Osteopathy as it can help the body to recover from injuries so that you can get back to your regular activities with much more power, flexibility and endurance than before.
